AGLS Legal Ethics in Action
About the training
This 90-minute, face-to-face training session is scenario based and provides an opportunity for Australian Government lawyers to explore the application of legal ethics in the government law context.
This training is an initiative of the Australian Government Legal Service (AGLS) in partnership with the Australian Government Solicitor (AGS). It builds on the AGS/AGLS Practical Ethics Training module with a focus on real-world scenarios. The session is designed to:
- build confidence in handling common ethical issues for government lawyers
- increase recognition of, and vocabulary around, legal ethics
- develop networks around a shared commitment to the highest standards of legal practice.
We strongly recommend that interested participants attend the AGS/AGLS Practical Ethics Training module before attending this session.
