Anne Sheehan
First Assistant Secretary – International and Public Law Division, Attorney-General’s Department
Anne is the First Assistant Secretary of the International and Public Law Division.
Anne has previously worked in various roles in the Attorney-General’s Department with responsibility for national security and strategy and governance. Anne has also held roles in the Department of Workplace Relations, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Department of Defence. Anne’s international experience includes holding positions in the United Kingdom’s Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and working as a visiting fellow at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law.
Anne has a Master of Laws specialising in international law from the University of Queensland and Bachelor of Laws from the Queensland University of Technology.
